1st Ever Roseland Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

The 1st Ever Roseland Breast Cancer Awareness Walk was held on Saturday, October 10 and God smiled down on the 125 participants with great weather for a wonderful cause.

The event was a terrific mixture of New RCH family, friends and partners highlighted by a heart-warming welcome back from 34th Ward Alderman Carrie Austin.

The New RCH welcomed Dr. Sandy Goldberg, founder of A Silver Lining Foundation, and Karen Dilligard, the Chicago Central Section President of the National Council of Negro Women. Additionally, the event was attended by Dr. Joy West, Chicago Sun Times Coloumnist Mary Mitchell, Aenta Better Health’s Jacqleen Musarra, Angela Brown and Chere Hunter.
