Eshanthika’s Living Room Mix 4!

After being diagnosed with DCIS in November 2020, Eshanthika Wijesinha underwent a mastectomy and reconstruction in February 2021, navigating treatment during the height of the pandemic. Grateful for the timely diagnostic testing that guided her care, Eshanthika chose to give back to A Silver Lining Foundation after friends introduced her to the organization through a donation made in her honor.

What began as a joyful way to celebrate being cancer‑free has grown into an annual fundraiser—now in its fourth year—recreating the pandemic‑era living‑room dance parties that helped sustain her through recovery. Together with her community, Eshanthika has raised thousands of dollars for ASLF, including nearly $9,000 last year, with even greater momentum this year.

Eshanthika is Executive Vice President of Operations at AllCampus, where she brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education and corporate learning. Known for building strong teams, driving growth, and delivering meaningful impact, she brings the same passion and purpose to her support of ASLF—helping ensure more women can access the care they need, when they need it most.

We are thrilled to share the incredible news: Eshanthika’sLiving Room Mix 4 raised a total of $21,000 for A Silver Lining Foundation!

This night was a true celebration of strength, resilience, and community—and it wouldn’t have been possible without the radiant force that is Eshanthika Wijesinha! Thank you, Eshanthika, for rallying your beautiful community, sharing your story, and pouring so much heart into supporting ASLF. Your energy continues to move mountains.

To your amazing network of family and friends—thank you for showing up, donating, dancing, cheering, and giving so generously. Your love for her filled the room and helped drive an impact that will directly translate into lifesaving breast health testing for those who need it most.

A special thank you to Daniel Fiorito from Bank of America (BOA), who leveraged his employer’s matching program and turned a $5,000 donation into $10,000, helping us grow our initial amount of $16,000 to an incredible $21,000. Your support helped push us to this remarkable total, resulting in doubling the event’s impact from 2023. We are deeply grateful.

And because community comes full circle, here’s a photo of Eshanthika and me after I won a stunning piece of artwork by Julie Cowan, titled “Bodice as Graphic,” in the raffle—an artwork I’m honored to donate to grace the walls of A Silver Lining Foundation. As Julie shares, “The work is a graphic representation of scars on my body incurred on my journey with cancer.”

Special thanks also go out to The Empty Bottle and its wonderful staff for providing such an amazing space for Eshanthika’s celebration, and to Glitter Guts for their support capturing photos throughout the evening. You added thoughtful, personal touches that brought Eshanthika’s spirit to the forefront and helped make the evening a huge success.

Finally, to everyone who danced, donated, spread the word, or simply held space with us—thank you. You helped make something truly special.

Here’s to love, music, healing, and the power of showing up for one another.
