A Silver Lining Foundation turns no one away. Starting as a resource and information hub, the foundation has grown to include six programs, all related to breast health and testing. The Foundation’s newest program, Finally Fits, focuses on breast cancer survivors in need of properly fitting bras and prostheses.
A Silver Lining Foundation currently funds access to breast health testing for uninsured and underinsured women and men through our Buy A Mom A Mammogram and Survive to Thrive program.
Finally Fits will fund cost-free bras and prostheses for those individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and have gone through surgery and treatment. As is the philosophy of the foundation regarding an individual’s right to dignity and respect, every woman will work directly and in person with a Certified Mastectomy Fitter at Second Act Cancer Recovery Boutique.
All breast cancer patients who have gone through surgery/treatment will need to provide an order/information from their health professional regarding verification.
