Ensuring Access and Treatment Options to Under-served Individuals Affected by Cancer
A Silver Lining Foundation (ASLF) is honored to be the recipient of proceeds from The Love Walk 2023. The walk will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park in Oak Lawn, IL. A $25 donation per adult is requested to participate in this family and pet-friendly walk.
Renee’ Blisset of BlissFit Yoga LLC is hosting this fundraiser. Ms. Blisset was just nine years old when she lost her mother to breast cancer. “I have spent many years raising funds for various breast cancer fundraisers in which I never quite saw the direct result of funds raised.” When Ms. Blisset was in need of resources to access her own breast health testing, she was referred to ASLF. “I am just one of thousands of women they have generously provided with access to critical testing. The Love Walk endeavors to raise funds to keep that access available to all,” Ms. Blisset explained.
