The Peninsula Chicago Thinks Pink

A Silver Lining Foundation (ASLF) was honored to once again be selected as The Peninsula Chicago’s local charity partner for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2021.

The annual Peninsula in Pink campaign aims to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer charities. Throughout October 2021, pink was the preferred color at The Peninsula Chicago with the main entrance and signage illuminated in pink each evening and interior pink-hued floral arrangements.

The hotel offered numerous ways to support Peninsula in Pink. Guests could make a donation to add the names of cancer survivors or memories of loved ones on the “Remembrance Tree.” Additionally, a portion of sales from Peninsula Pink Afternoon Tea service and “Peninsula in Pink” cocktails benefitted ASLF.

This fantastic fundraiser contributed more than $7,000 to ASLF, helping the foundation serve its mission to provide respectful and equal access to cost-free breast health testing.
